Shoua Xiong is a Hmong-American designer. Her humble beginnings in sewing and design started at a young age where her mother sewed clothing for her and her siblings as well as teaching her how to sew traditional Hmong clothing. As a young adult, she got her first experience as a seamstress working on bridal and special occasion wear. Ever since then, her passion for fixing and creating beautiful dresses/special occasion wear continued.

Therefore, landing her a spot at this year’s Milwaukee Fashion Week.

She wants her personality, passion, and love for designing and sewing to show through in her work. Her goal is to create unforgettable evening wear that demonstrates edginess but at the same time, is soft and pleasant to the eye.
